They serve breakfast and it would be a good place to pick up food for snacks & lunch, because there are not many options along the first part of the route. Lunch: The Colorado Burrito 6102 US 70 Mebane opens at 11:00 am. (approx. 7 miles from The Colonial Inn). Or continue on into Mebane another 2.5 miles, to Bright Penny Brewing 107 N. 7th Street. They serve salads and pizza, but do not open until 3:30 pm. As you get closer to the Fairfield Inn, there are many fast food places and restaurant choices.
